Hunter Biden investigated by feds for taxes

Joe Biden’s son Hunter is back in the news again, this time for a federal investigation into his taxes (https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-55254182). Federal prosecutors are looking into Biden’s foreign dealings, especially with China. Biden said, "I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisers.”

This is not the first time that Hunter Biden has been the center of controversy. Back in 2019 President Trump had a phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, looking into Joe and Hunter Biden’s relationship with Russian, Ukrainian, and Chinese business leaders and government officials. Trump was looking into possible foreign entanglements within the Biden family, but Democrats accused him of quid pro quo. This led to an attempted impeachment of President Trump, with the House voting to impeach Trump but the Senate ultimately acquitting.

During the 2020 presidential election Hunter Biden was at the center of attention again, this time as the Trump campaign claimed to have additional evidence proving that Biden had received money from the energy company Burisma and from the mayor of Moscow’s wife. These accusations later led to Senate hearings on social media platforms as Twitter, Facebook, and Google censored New York Post articles covering the controversy.

Will the continuing saga of Hunter Biden have a negative impact on Joe Biden moving forward or will he continue to succeed despite these accusations. Democrats have accused Republicans of going on a witch hunt to try and find something to pin on the Biden family. Is this accurate, or should the American public be legitimately concerned?
